So Many Blessings

In the last week since the Daily Camera wrote the piece on Headhuggers we have had such wonderful response.  Last week, I met a lady named Jacqueline that got our contact information and reached out to us. She donated two huge bags of yarn (28 skeins ) and is gonna join us at our next get together May 25th to make chemo caps.  Then, I met with one of our regular crocheters named June at the Louisville Senior Center.  I listened to her story about her husband that passed away last September. He was diagnosed nine years ago with Cancer and what she went through for those nine years.  During that time She was  involved with seniors for kids and made chemo caps and donated them.  She then handed me six beautiful hats that she made.  She is truly an amazing woman.  We feel so blessed to have so many volunteers helping! Please tell us your story and maybe something you say will help someone.

Much Love, Missy
