From Julane Roberts

We want to hear from you! Whether you are a person going through Chemo, A family member or friend, a volunteer making chemo caps or someone that wants to share their story about how Cancer has changed their life then please tell your story.  Maybe your story can help someone!

I am a breast cancer survivor and I saw an ad for HeadHuggers on our work website. I am excited to know that there is a program such as this. Hats are not cheap when you are fighting with cancer. I had some beautiful friends that donated hats to me during my journey. My mother and sister crochet hats, so I will definitely do what I can to donate some of these to your program. Julane Roberts

I am a Volunteer at Longmont Unitd Hospital in Longmont Co. Recently someone from Head Huggers brought a big bag of chemo hats to our hospital. They are so beautifully made, obviously made with lots of love. I took them to the Rocky Mountain Cancr Center in Longmont. The nurses were delighted to receive them, they were very excited to put them out for their patients.
Thank you so much for your very generous donation, they will be worn and loved.

Thank you so much for the 2 beautiful knitted hats, I picked them up at my cancer treatment center. The center is located in the medical building attached to St Anthony. This is my 5 treatment which has caused hair loss. Your hats will keep me warm with the cold weather upon us.
I have stage 4 Breast cancer with metastases to my bones and liver(terminal cancer). My onc and clinical trials have keep me moving on for 4 years. I am so thankful for each and every day, and the people. includes your organization, who help on this journey.

I am being treated every Monday at the University Hospital Anshutz Pavillion. Do you bring hats there?
